"NFL Kickoff" – Roku quit forcing menu items onto my homescreen!


How many times did we have this discussion? How many times did customers voice their frustration and annoyance about seeing forced items on their homescreen?

Why Roku can you not let go of doing this? I dont want forced items on my homescreen. Please kindly stop adding stuff onto my homescreen. I’m not interested in NFL Kickoff or any other stuff, that you force on me!

Just another frustration and massive annoyance dealing with this **bleep** and needing to visit the settings again to hide this. Only for it to come back some time later. I HATE IT.

    I hate the obnoxiousness of using specific event names to get around the category settings.

    If I have "Sports" set to hide, then I should not be seeing the NFL Kickoff or the World Series.

    As long as Roku can make money from it, you can bet they'll keep doing it.  As has been pointed out before, we're no longer customers, we're the product sold to advertisers.
