New voice remote not working right
My brand new voice remote pro only works when plugged in. Screen says battery is at 100%. I charged it for 6hrs before using it.

I would try restarting the remote.
To reboot a Voice Remote:
Hold down the pairing button for 20 seconds. On Voice Remote models with no pairing button, hold down both the Back and Home buttons for 20 seconds.
While holding down, the remote light will start to flash. Keep holding and at the 20-second mark the light will turn off. The remote will then restart.
On models with removable batteries, removing both batteries and replacing them will also restart the remote.
After rebooting you may need to pair the remote to your Roku over again.
