New Roku remote turns TV off but not on
Doesn't work, still will not turn the TV on. The original voice remote worked just fine, so why doesn't a new one work as well?

Try reprogramming it, next time skip the first positive result be press YES, even if the sound stops and seeing if a later code works better. Is your tv a Toshiba? There is Changhong tv codes that work with Toshibas except for power on.
