Would you mind telling us what type of Roku remote are you referring to? Please check our Support article to help you Identify your remote. In addition, may we know if there is a Roku streaming device plugged into your Sony TV? It's possible that this is one of the factors in how your TV is being controlled. Please be advised that Roku remotes only work well with Roku devices.
