Network Password Reset Problems

The password for my wifi has changed when we got a new router. 
My Roku stick finds the network, but is remembering the old password, not prompting me for the new password. So it will not connect. 
I have done a hard reset with paper clip and it still remembers. I have unplugged overnight, and it still remembers.  How can I get this stick to forget the old password and prompt me for the new one?

    We appreciate you reaching out about this, and we'd like to see more of what's going on here.

    Could you tell us more about this? Have you tried using that device on a different TV to see if you're still seeing the same issue occur?

    With a better understanding of this, we will be able to work further.

      On your Roku, go into Settings > Network > Set up connection and connect to the new network name with your new password.
