I have the same issue too - of the 4 ROKUs I have, 3 are doing it.
it is really frustrating.
I think there was a defective software update....since I have one that is working correctly.
Anyone have suggestions?

I am having the same problem, but it appears to be only with DIRECTTV, Netflix, MAX, Prime all seem to move between tiles correctly.

Some more details....my ROKU Devices (all 4 are the same):
- Type (all 4): 3820X - Streaming Stick 4K
-Power (all 4): Plugged directly into the USB port for power.
-Duration (3 of the 4): This has been going on for about 2 weeks.

I had the same problem tonight (worked fine last night). Final solution: I unplugged and restarted the Roku. Yep, the old turn it off and back on. It was very frustrating, but seems to be resolved.

I am having the same issue, but is only with directtv. Netflix, Prime and Max all work correctly.

I have the same issue, but it only happens in the Max channel. What is going on??? It's unusable.

I unplugged it and plugged back in and now it works fine. Very weird.

I am having the same issue on all my Rokus, 4 devices. I am plugged into the wall. I have 3 roku ultras and 1 roku soundbar pro and all devices are having issues with skipping channels. I just started 3 days ago after 3 years of not doing it.

I have the same issue but only for Hulu. Other services (Netflix, Amazon, Max) are OK. It's a weirdly specific anomaly. It's frustrating.

Unplug and plug back in. It fixed the same issue for me.

Could you tell us what Roku device this is? If so, how are you powering it—to a wall outlet or directly to a TV USB port? Also, when did you start seeing this behavior?

I'm having the same problem (skips tiles ...). The problem started within the last 5 days. I put in new batteries, but that had no effect. The arrow buttons do not feel like they're sticking. I have a model RC80. The firmware noted is 9.02.01.68. Advice would be appreciated.

Mine just started last week. I can't make choices in the shows I want to watch or certain letters during a search because its skips over things. It jumps over 3 things instead of landing one at a time. I have the Roku Express 4 K. So far several people have posted the same problem and no one has a solution.

The only thing that worked for me was unplugging the tv and waiting a few minutes to let it restart. I haven’t had any problems since.
