My Roku remote just stopped allowing me to use the power or volume controls on tv

I have always been able to adjust the volume and the power button from my Roku remote to my Vizio television. As of yesterday this has stopped. I’ve tried everything possible from unplugging the HDMI, system upgrades, restarting the system and the television. Please help

    Have you tried setting it up again under Settings->Remotes & devices->Remotes->[voice remote]->Set up remote for TV control?
