My Roku ONN tv won’t turn on

My tv won’t turn on but the button is red. I changed batteries in the remote and plugged the cord in a different outlet and the TV still won’t turn on

Check the other remotes in the room? Stand in front of the tv at different angles to find the culprit IR interference?

I changed the batteries did the reset on the remote. The remote has a red light as well as the tv but tv still won’t turn on. I switched outlets and even pressed the reset button on the tv and still nothing

And I only have one tv and one remote. I was able to use my phone before and now I can’t even get it to connect on my phone to turn it on

Try strumming the remote buttons like a guitar in all directions to see if you can get the button that's stuck unstuck.

  • My computer is doing the exact same thing, and it has only been on for three weeks. Have you found out what's wrong with it?

  • As it stands, I have been experiencing the exact same issue with my computer, and I have owned it for only three weeks. Do you know what's wrong with it? Have you been able to figure out what's wrong so far?

      Hi doll14

We appreciate you for posting. We want to look closer to see if there's anything else we can suggest to help, but we need more details. Here are a few questions here to better understand what you're experiencing:

      • Do you observe this behavior while using other channel(s) on your device?
      • What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far to resolve the issue?
      • Could you tell us more about the issue you're seeing?

With more detailed information, we will be able to assist you further.

      Thanks,

      Anjelie
