My roku control remote is out of control by increasing volume and cant make it stop

Hello,

My remote is out of control. I keep increasing the volume without me pressing on the button. I am currently using my phone as the remote.

    Let's perform some steps to troubleshoot the issue. Follow the instructions below:

    Restart your Roku Remote

    • Reset your remote: Press and hold the Back and Home/Pairing buttons simultaneously for about 20 seconds.

    Re-pair your Roku remote

    • Set the Roku device in pairing mode, unplug it from the power outlet for 15 seconds, and plug it in again.
    • Initiate pairing by pressing and holding the Back and Home/pairing button for 5 seconds.
