If you provided more info, like the TV brand, perhaps someone can offer a compatible code you can try.

      Hi,

We have a Matrix treadmill, and the console is an XIR-2C. When we started setup it asks if it is a Toshiba tv, which it isn’t. We want the remote more for volume control than anything for workouts.

Did you try letting Roku set it up as a Toshiba?

Doesn't really matter what it really is if you can get it to work.  Some users have to use alternative brands to get the Roku to recognize the functions.  Sometimes during setup, you may even have to falsely tell the setup the "music has stopped" when it hasn't in order for the Volume controls to work.
