Multiple Apps not working on Roku tv

So my Xfinity stream, Hulu, Disney+ and peacock apps are not working on my tv. the apps simply don't open. I click the apps, screen goes dark, then goes back to the home screen... What's up with this.

  • It's hard to say, but when things start going sideways on Roku devices the first thing to try is a "System restart".  On a Roku TV you can find it under Settings->System->Power(skip if not available)>System Restart.

      We are unable to get any of the Roku apps or channels to work. It keeps giving different messages and then cutting back to home. The apps come up but anything selected is not working.

        Same thing just started happening with my Roku stick, although a few apps do work: Apple+, Prime and a couple odd ones. Fubo, YouTube, Paramount+ do not work, and give different msgs as to why or just a quick logo screen, then back to Home.
        I've tried system restarts, unplugging everything, app uninstall/reinstall, changing HDMI slots, and checking for Roku system software updates.
        NOTHING has worked.
        I'll let you know if I find something that improves the situation ....

      I did system restart and it worked. All my apps are now operating.

        I’m going to try that because two of my favorite apps just stop working. Some of the others work.

  • I finally got mine to work, but i have a Roku stick, so i don't know if you have the same option on a Roku TV.
    There is a little (almost invisible) button on the stick, which I pushed several times wondering what it was for. It seemed to reset EVERYTHING - but it worked. Then I had to pretty much start from scratch: re-signin to Roku, download software, configure the remote, then reinstall ALL apps (but Roku software helps do this as a batch function). Then login again separately for every app subscription.
    Maybe there is a button like this on the Roku TV.

  • Mi Roku express funcionaba normal y después de un tiempo ya no abre las app de iptv que instalo parece que quiere abrir y luego se pone en pantalla negra y te manda al inicio me pueden ayudar ya reinicie el sistema y reinicie de fabrica pero nada
