Lost TCL Roku remote and can't connect to my phones hotspot thru the remote app
I can't connect my phone to my TCL Roku using my hotspot thru the Roku remote app. What do I need to do to get my phone to be able to control my tv

You need another device connected to your phone's hotspot like another phone or tablet. I don't know exactly how it works, but technically your phone isn't on the same network as your TV when using its hotspot.
