Lost all my channels and had to create a account

This morning I woke up to a home screen with only six and none of them were channels..I  had to create a account in order to get my channels back,  When I first got the tv all I did was turn it on and add channels. I am I paying for Roku tv. Nobody else in my household is paying and we all have Roku.
