LiveStream Access on Roku Streaming Stick

I have a Roku Streaming Stick 4K and a Vizio VL 400 Series HD TV. My church live streams their services and studies. Is it possible, with my equipment to: 1.) Set up my Roku to access their web site and live stream to my TV  or  2.)  Using my Roku (similar to Chrome Cast), cast from my Lenovo Win 11 laptop to my Vizio  TV.  When Roku asked for a site to access, I tried to type in the website. But, since the site is a .org and there is no period character shown in the character set, I couldn’t properly define the website.

You should be able to cast from your Win11 laptop to your Roku.  You should also be able to screen mirror from a mobile device to your Roku.

You can also use some 3rd party free casting apps available in the online Roku Channel Store that will allow you to cast from a mobile device to your Roku. (Web Video Caster and Castify are both good casting apps).  Web Video Caster works very good using free version but also offers one-time $4 purchase option. (unlocks a few extra features like bookmarks).

With either the casting or screen mirroring, just load the website into your web browser (on either the win11 machine or your mobile device) and then cast or screen mirror to your Roku device.

Another option besides casting/screen mirroring is to connect a laptop to the TV via HDMI cable.  Then just use the web browser to go to your site. (bypasses Roku altogether)

Additionally, there are some church-related streaming apps in the Roku Channel Store so can always chek to see if your church has a Roku app.  If not, then will need to cast, screen mirror, or use HDMI.
