Live TV works from home menu screen as a preview but does not work once selected

Live TV works from home menu screen as a preview, but when you click on the icon it displays as a full black screen for every channel and nothing loads on the guide. 
This is a TCL Roku tv. The live TV is clearly working cause it plays on the mini menu screen but as soon as you click on it, then nothing plays.
