Roku won't fix a **bleep** thing. They have been aware since 2024 how much this change annoys people and have done NOTHING to remedy it. Roku really sucks when it comes customer service and providing a positive experience for their users.

HELLO ROKU!!!
Do you not realize that this very much unwanted and hated feature is costing you lots of customers? Not just disgruntled digital savvy ones, but THE ELDERLY, who like to sit and watch TV all day!! It's difficult enough for them to navigate cable, or streaming services, as it is, but this added layer of complication is just way too far. If my father was still here, and this was added to his Roku TV, I would have had to junk it and get him something else, as there's no way he'd have a clue as to how this works with all the unnecessary, unwarranted, ridiculous extra steps involved in just watching the **bleep** TV! FIX THIS ALREADY!! You can simply have the top row of channels be an option, so that if someone wishes to go to any of them, they only need to move up to the row and click on one! It's that simple, but no, you force us there by default, resulting in more added clicks just to return to what we are already watching.... smdh
Oh, and I'd been considering buying a new Roku TV, but until this situation is remedied, that ain't happening...
