So this explains why I can't resume a movie after pausing it. it just sits and buffers and I get a playback error. Is this a Roku specific error? If I switch clients, say to an Amazon fire stick, will the problem go away?
Also, is there a way to rollback your Roku to an earlier software version where it played nice with other apps?

I'm not sure if you realize you're responding to a post that is over a year old. I don't know Plex, but I think any app that is still being maintained would have had time to react to a Roku change in that time.
