Internet isn't on the list to connect. Cable company said it's a Roku problem

My cable company has reset my modem a few times every else is online. Try to connect to Roku thru settings my internet address never comes up. I have scanned and scanned never is there. I have been on Roku for 5 yrs and never had this happen before. Suggestions??

    What Roku device do you have?  Some Roku devices cannot use the 5 GHz band.  Do you have 2.4 GHz available on your router?

      To add to what HDMIGuy asked, the model number is what's important for us to know, not just the mode name.  You can find the model number under Settings->System->About or written on the device.
