Inconsistent Roku connectivity - 2 hours and 20 minutes on chat

I see many discussions on here as far back as 2023 on intermittent connectivity issues and promises from ROKU to fix them, but no solutions.  I just spent 2 hours and 20 minutes on the phone with 4 different people asking me to try the same things over and over again.

Finally, the so=called expert/supervisor said he would escalate my issue to the "concern team" dedicated to hardware issues.  Has anyone ever heard of this team or had a good experience?  What do you think my chances are of getting this fixed?

  • I am a first time owner of two TCL Roku tv's...I always liked the picture quality of TCL and decided to purchase two cheaper ones for a temporary place to stay. I have noticed that so many times when trying to pause something or rewind, it just restarts..or you can't use any remote buttons at all. What is going on and it seems like a problem with my of their TV's. I have family members that have the higher end TCL tvs and are experiencing the same problem.   Maybe this is why Roku has went out on their own now and pushing their own ROKU TV, maybe its on the TCL side?   I just don't think I will be purchasing either again, I will stick to my Roku Ultra, it is faster and don't have any problems with it.
