How to switch from 4k to 1080 display on Roku TV?

I'm eating through data really fast in the month and am looking for an option to force my TV to only play in 1080 and never in 4k for the time being. I have a TCL 50" 4k TV. Is there any way to do this? All my google searches say to go under display options but I only have picture settings and there is nothing there that allows me to change to 1080. I don't use any outputs this would just be on the main roku streaming channels. I mainly watch Vudu, Hulu & Paramount Plus. Vudu allows me to adjust streaming settings in the app but Hulu and Paramount do not sadly.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

On a Roku device, the ability to set the desired resolution is under Settings/Display.

However, I believe when using a RokuTV, any ability may be limited to doing it in a channel/app setting as you described.  I know my Insignia RokuTV has no such setting to set the desired resolution, but I do not know if this is universal across all RokuTV manufacturers or the new Roku-branded RokuTVs.
