How to stop automatically changing the wallpaper!

I don't have the option to turn it off on the new Roku for Ultra how do I stop it.? I came on today and they took my wallpaper down and threw up some funky ass Taylor Swift garbage

  • Hi kccat5,

Thank you for posting here in the Roku Community!

We understand you want to disable the random changing of wallpaper on your Roku Ultra. We're happy to assist you further. On various occasions throughout the year, such as Valentine's Day or Halloween, Roku releases seasonal themes that only appear for a short period of time, e.g., 3 days. Your Roku device will automatically display a seasonal theme and automatically switch back after it expires.

Seasonal themes are enabled by default. You can disable them using the following instructions:

    1. Press Home on your Roku remote.
    2. Scroll and select Settings.
    3. Select Theme.
    4. Select seasonal themes.
    5. Select Off to disable seasonal themes (or select On to enable them).

You may check out this support article here on how to change the theme pack to adjust the look of the Roku interface.

    Best regards,
    John

  • There is also a separate Sponsored Themes setting you can disable. Just to be more confusing, instead of Settings/Themes, it may be Settings/Wallpapers & Screensavers on some devices.
