How to record upcoming show in January
How do I record a upcoming show? It's the inauguration and I'm having surgery that day and will not be able to watch live. Thank you.

Rokus themselves have no provisions for recording anything. Some of the apps you use MAY have recording capabilities, using their own servers.
How do you watch the channel(s) you're asking about?
- Antenna input on the TV?
- Via channel app(s) on the Roku? Which one(s)?
Sling Freestream gives you 10 hours of DVR. They also have livestreams from a bunch of different news channels. So you could set it to record 10 hours on one channel or 5 hours each on two different news channels or whatever.
I think the easiest way to set up an account is to go to the Sling website and create a Freestream account (yes, it's free). Then install the Sling app on your Roku and login with your new Sling account credentials.
