Pairing is for roku streamers and roku remotes. An aftermarket remote like xfinity might have a IR code that controls roku tv, it won't be a roku code, it'll be a tv code. What brand of Roku tv do you have?

the codes (TCL,Admiral, etc) didn't work for me, but this did (for volume, power, and input buttons) !

If it has a Setup button:

        1. Turn on your TV.
        2. Press and hold Setup until the light at the top of the remote changes from red to green.
        3. Enter 9-9-1. The light should flash green twice.
        4. Keep pressing CH ^ until the TV turns off.
        5. Once the TV turns off, press Setup to lock in the code.
        6. Press the TV power button on the remote. If the TV turns on, you're all set!

I have an RCA Roku tv, does anyone know what the Xfinity code is to use the cable remote?

The Rca Roku tv uses the same code as Tcl Roku tv, so try the Admiral codes also.

Other Roku tv brands that will use the Admiral code include Insignia, Onn, Westinghouse, Magnavox, Jvc, Sanyo, Philips.

For sure the Hisense and Sharp Roku tv's do not use the Admiral, they use the Goldstar, LG, or Vizio code set.

Does any one know what code to use

To pair the Roku tv with Comcast remote we used the first code under Admiral. It only works to turn the TV on/off and control volume. The Roku remote has to be used for everything else such as switching between cable TV and Roku apps.

My xFinity remote turns on the TV, and let’s me change channels and select input but my Roku remote no longer works so I can’t choose Netflix or one of the other built 8n streaming services.  Any solution?
