I was having the same issue where I would go to my settings and the only options I had was rename or remove the AV input.
JUST REMOVE IT! After I removed the AV input, I had the option to add it back, and I was able to use it and successfully played my Nintendo 64 on Roku!

Thanks for the inquiry.
If you are trying to access the AV input on the Roku home screen, you will only be able to see the AV input if you have a Roku TV. Otherwise, you will not be able to access the AV input through the Roku home screen, but rather through your TV input.

You have actual TV? A Roku TV!! Apple TV and Fire TV aren't tv's (yes Fire tv are tv nowadays but at one time it was called a tv when it wasn't), where the Roku TV is an actual TV with a screen, and always had screen when called Roku tv.
settings> inputs> scroll to AV input> add it, rename it if you wish.

I have a new Roku TV (just got this week). When I go from Home screen to Settings/TV Inputs, I am not seeing AV Input under Not Used (I have nothing plugged in) or Used. Just does not show up. How do I get it to show. This is a new 6 Series R635 55" and only has the AV Adapter yellow plug in on the back of the TV.
