How to access Roku on Ipad

So In addition to the Roku express, another device is required to see my iPad on my Samsung smart tv?

It seems like we're lacking information based on your statement for us to provide you with a strong suggestion about this.

Could you tell me what you are trying to access? Are you referring to accessing some content on The Roku Channel or your subscriptions? Or are you trying to access AirPlay or casting on your iPad?
