home button turns on tvs roku express 4k

the power button on my remote does not turn on my tv but if i hit the home button it turns on my tv and the tv downstairs. how can i stop the roku remote from having any control over my tvs powering on.

    If an HDMI splitter is feeding both TVs then you might want to turn off HDMI-CEC in one or both TVs and/or turn off One-touch-play in the Roku.

    Is the TV downstairs a Roku TV?  Or are they both fed from an HDMI distribution system?  (Just taking a couple of guesses as to how the downstairs TV could be “connected”.)

      both tvs connected to wifi.  both tvs fed by split hdmi.
