Tonight when I turned on my Hisense 58R6E1 TV the Roku menu was full brightness, but when I select anything to watch (cable TV, any streaming app, the DVD player, etc), all picture modes except "Movie" result in a dark screen. Bought it a little over a month ago at WalMart. Guess it's going back tomorrow!
This literally just happened to me. I bought a 70" hisense roku TV a couple of months ago. Thankfully I bought this POS from Costco. It's going back next weekend when I have some time. First and last time I buy hisense/roku.

Costco is the best at dealing with this problem, try asking them by phone or in person, (I don’t work for them, lol) they also are great on returns. I have one of these in 48 or something like that, I took a chance when this tv was unheard of, streaming other than games ( steam) was also unheard of, my limited budget was my best reason to try this unheard of tv from china (eye roll) but its almost 10 years later and I just started experiencing the black out screen ( guess I got my money’s worth lol) but as Im still at the very low budget of nothingness guess I need to try to fix it first) Ive tried unplugging,, and a few other suggestions but since I have a “Spectrum” app ( a whole other problem, (super eye roll) Im hesitant to reset as that deletes the spectrum app; not sure why they’re in a love spat with each other ( Spectrum cable and ROKU, double eye roll!!) hopefully there is another way to fix this semi-“blackout screen” ??
thanks for reading my ROKU love-hate experience ;)
PS: loved the “POS back to Costco line” lol!!

Sounds like bad luck for you
total disconnect .. (remove socket from the wall) leave for slow count of 20, only then plug back into the power
sorts it
(mines a 65”)
lasted virtually all this year so far since the reset 🤷🏻♂️

Yah... Same thing happened to us with a 50" Hisense Roku model. Actually 2nd time. First time eventually healed itself. This time unplugged TV and waited a minute. Perfection.
