Help with Roku black screen

my TCL Roku Tv just stopped working the other day and im not sure why. i tried going into the roku channel app and it didn't load so i went home and tried again. i then went home again and it went black. i unplugged it and reset it and it still doesn't work. the tv is on but the screen is black. i need some tips on how to fix this. debating on returning it but i bought this one to replace my old tv so i really don't want to.
