Help with internet connectivity issue on Roku TV

My roku TV will not connect to the internet, after connecting it disconnects. I have tried restarting the TV and that didn't do anything.  It isn't my router because other things are connecting. Help please

    Hi WillyBee

    Thank you for the post!

If your Roku channels are disconnecting after 5 minutes, it is likely that you are experiencing an internet connectivity issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

    • Check your internet connection: Make sure that your Roku device is connected to the internet and that your internet connection is stable. A slow or weak internet connection can cause streaming issues.
    • Restart your Roku device: Sometimes, restarting your Roku device can help to resolve connectivity issues. We recommend restarting your Roku using the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > System restart > Restart.
    • Check your router: Ensure that your router is working properly and that it is not experiencing any connectivity issues. Restart your router by unplugging it from the power source for 10-15 seconds and then plugging it back in.
    • Move your Roku device closer to your router: If your Roku device is far away from your router, it may have difficulty maintaining a strong internet connection. Try moving your Roku device closer to your router to see if this resolves the issue.
    • Try a wired connection: If you are using a wireless connection, try using an ethernet cable to connect your Roku device to your router instead. This can help to improve internet connectivity and reduce streaming issues.

    We hope it helps!

    Warm regards,
