Headphones Mode intermittently dropping out

Private listening has been intermittently dropping out recently

ios app 12.6.0.24598468.33

iPhone Xs Max iOS 18.5

**using DNS adware/malware filter on home network: Ad block, AdGuard, 94.140.14.14, 94.140.15.15, but the DNS service has not changed nor been recently introduced

The app isn’t locking up like before, but very recently, the private listening audio connection keeps dropping out and then picking back up. Sometimes the little green ‘connected’ light on the app remote drops out, too, but sometimes it doesn’t.

Try changing the wireless channel of your 2.4ghz band in your router. (1, 6, or 11 preferred, but may need to select another between 1 and 11).

You may just be getting some interference from your network affecting the bluetooth.  Anything that uses 2.4ghz can be a contributor of interference as well, such as microwaves, cordless phones, etc.

It has also been reported that adjusting the phone's 'notification' settings may help. (although the issues were that the private listening would disconnect, rather than your issue of a disconnect/re-connect interruption).
