HDMI switch compatible with Roku remote IR

Is there an HDMI switch with an audio extractor that is compatible with the Roku remote’s IR for controlling volume, muting, and possibly powering off the switch with the remote’s power button?

    Hey, Aziel82.

    Thanks for inquiring!

Please note that our Roku remotes are designed to work with Roku devices and TVs only; any third-party setup or devices will not guarantee to work.

    We hope that clarifies everything!

Your remote works with TVs, they are third-party!

Roku remote IR support only works with Roku players and most TV sets. There are some small, unknown brands that might not be in the remote's IR database of codes. But in general they will control the audio on almost all TVs regardless of brand. But that's all they will control. The remote IR database does not contain codes for AVRs, soundbars, and certainly not through any sort of HDMI switcher. Roku players do have the ability to control the audio on some 3rd party devices using the CEC protocol, but it is highly dependent on the support from the other device if it will work. I can control the volume of my Yamaha AVRs using the Roku remotes through CEC, but that's the extent of my testing in that area.
