Guest mode setup problems

My friend gave me his Roku TV. I assumed that when I enter my pin number in Guest Mode I would be able to view the apps in my account such as Netflix. I get the message Invalid Pin. I tried entering his Pin number and get the same message. How does this thing work?

    I've never used guest mode, but since the TV is yours now (I think?) then maybe life would be simpler if you put it on your account?

    Thanks for sharing this here!

    It would be great to perform a factory reset on the Roku device for a fresh start. 

    Here's how:

    1. Press Home on your Roku remote
    2. Scroll and select Settings
    3. Select System
    4. Select Advanced system settings
    5. Select Factory reset
    6. If you have a Roku TV, select Factory reset everything. Otherwise, move to the next step.
    7. Follow the on-screen instructions
