Getting Roku OS 12.5.5 update on my Rokus, what's in it?

I just noticed that 3 of my 4 Roku devices received OS 12.5.5 yesterday.  Roku usually posts release notes when the main version number changes but the new version is not listed there.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what changes are included in 12.5.5?

    12.5 was the major update. 12.5.5 probably just has a few tweaks. Here's a Roku blog post about what 12.5 provided. I can't find any such post for 12.5.5.

      Me too bro! I can't find any info out on the 12.5.5 either.....also there is a build number on mine. Is that normal? Is there any info on that possibly?

        Every OS version has a build number. It likely changes based on the device model. Meaning an Ultra would have a different build number than a Streambar or an Express.

    I just got my new roku tv. My other tv had 12.5.5 I think but this new one only updated to 12.5.0 this tv was made in 2023 whereas my older tv was made in 2020 so shouldnt this new tv made in 2023 have 12.5.5 on it?
