Froze on the sign in to email

So I turned my new Roku on it was on the home screen but noticed it didn't have YouTube or nothing on it yet so I went to sign in signed in my email and it got stuck on the sign in and all it says is please wait and it just keeps the loading screen going and going and going and it won't let me back to my home screen or back to watch TV unless I unplug it and even after it's unplugged it won't go back to the home screen

    We understand you are having trouble signing in through your channels since it is stuck on the loading screen. We're happy to assist you further. Please try to restart your modem and router. After restarting your wireless network connection, you may need to restart the Roku device as well by unplugging it for a minute or two and then re-plugging it.

    If the problem still persists, can you please provide the following information below?

    • How far is your Roku device from your network router?
    • Did we recently make any changes to your network or network provider?
    • Do you have cellular data so we can try connecting your device to your hotspot?
