Factory reset can't pair remote

I just received my official Roku voice remote for my 3810x and it paired fine, but I promptly did a factory reset to load my account and now cannot use it bc the new remote does not have a pairing button. I can't use the app bc it's not connected to my wifi anymore. Help!

    Pull the batteries from the remote, now you do a factory reset of the 3810 Stick, once it stops bouncing put in the batteries of the remote and wait to see if the start communication between the Roku and remote.
