Express 4K+ Has bouncing Roku logo

Dealing with a bouncing Roku logo for days.  Unplugged cords, did the reset for 30 seconds.  It’s plugged into a power adaptor into the wall.

what else can I try?

it’s only 4 months old

  • I can not get this device to go past the jumping logo.  I've tried resetting it, restarting it, and I even tried resetting my modem.  I called my internet provider to make sure they had not made changes that I wasn't aware of.  Can you please help me?

Same issue as everyone else. Model 3941X. X01600FP3G3D is s/n list in roku account but physical s/n is SOAH217P3G3D. Started today.

  • My roku express 4k stick is stuck on the loading screen with the bouncing logo. I have tried unplugging it for a while plugging it back in. I have tried holding the reset button and all it does is make the screen go black. I’ve tried plugging it into different outlets as well. It’s started about 4 hours and all my other devices are working.

Yikes. Pressing the Reset button, even for less than the recommended 30 seconds, could put it in a factory fresh state. That means a full setup

Describe what is on the screen when you power up the Roku. Bouncing logo? "Let's get started?" What?

I have tried that as well and it did not work. When it starts up it shows the loading page which is the bouncing roku letters and it stays like that.

Generally for the bouncing Roku issue, the steps are to either leave unplugged for a bit or factory reset (press and hold button for 30+ seconds as you did).

The bouncing Roku logo is basically stuck in a boot process.  If the factory reset does not fix it, then device probably needs replacing.

Since your device is under 1 year old, should quality for replacement under warranty. (Instructions for Returns can be found at https://support.roku.com/article/208757058)

Which Roku model number do you have? Is it plugged directly into the wall or are you using your TVs USB power?
