Eliminate Roku Generated Sounds

I want to TOTALLY Eliminate any sound generated by Roku.  Roku has started giving all kinds of stuff I have no desire to hear.  It tells me how much time is left when the movie when it is paused, it tells me other un-necessary stuff.   I want the Roku to SHUT UP!

How do I stop Roko from talking?

    How to change screen reader settings

    You can customize your screen reader experience by going to Settings, then Accessibility, and then Screen Reader. The various configurations available to you are as follows:

    Screen reader on/off

    • Turn the screen reader on or off. This is the same as pressing Star * four times.
