DVD Player won’t play on TCL TV
Can’t get an older model DVD Player to show as an input on any HDMI plugs. Won’t play on TV. Shows “no input showing” “Is the unit on?”

Is it? (On I mean. Sorry, that's probably too obvious. But unlike a Roku, most DVD players aren't always-on. I have an old DVD player with a red power LED - which is OFF when the player is ON.)
Might be worth trying on another TV, if possible. It might be worth trying component video too.
