Hi Champfly,
A warm welcome here in the Roku Community!
There seems to be an error with the internet speed that your Roku shows. Let us help you with this, and here are some troubleshooting steps you can perform.
- Restart your Router/Modem.
- Restart the network settings on your Roku by navigating to Settings > System > Advance System Settings > Network Connection Reset. Then, reconnect your Roku streaming device to your network once again.
- Restart your Roku streaming device by navigating to Settings > System > Power (skip if not available) System Restart.
- Try another network such as a mobile hotspot or another network to see if it's able to detect higher internet speed.
We hope this works.
All the best,

What model Roku? Its likely your phone supports the AC or if brand new, the AX 5 gHz WiFi bands which are much faster than a/b/g/n.. If your Roku is logged into the 2.4 gHz band which tends to have better range and signal strength its also much slower than 5 gHz.
Older model Roku players do not support AC band WiFi 🙂

Roku Premiere+…I guess about 4 -5 yrs🤷♂️ My phone is a iPhone XR. I did all the system checks except a factory reset.

Actual model numbers are better because one Roku labeled premier+ is dual band, but another premier+ is 2.4GHz only. (Based on your time frame, I’m guessing you have the 2.4GHz-only model.)
I think 20Mbps is pretty good for a 2.4GHz-only model. How many Mbps you need varies, but Netflix, for example, says 5Mbps for HD and 15Mbps for 4K. Are you having any problems?
