    Hi DJRocky9000

    Thank you for the post!

The Roku Express 4K HD Streaming Media Player should be compatible with routers in access point (AP) mode. This is because the device is designed to connect to Wi-Fi networks and should work with any Wi-Fi router that is set up correctly, regardless of whether it is in AP mode or not.

However, some devices may not work with routers in AP mode due to compatibility issues or limitations of the device's hardware or software. For example, some devices may not be able to connect to a Wi-Fi network if the router is in AP mode because they are not able to support the specific Wi-Fi protocol or security settings that the router is using.

In general, it's always a good idea to check the device's documentation or contact the manufacturer to confirm whether it is compatible with routers in AP mode before purchasing or using the device in this configuration. Additionally, it's important to ensure that the router is set up correctly and that any necessary firmware updates have been applied to ensure compatibility with the device.

    We hope it helps!

    Warm regards,
