disppearing local channels possible workaround

Hi all,

This is my 1st roku and I was definitely going to pull my hair out trying to listen to my morning news.

I have an antenna in the back and scanned for local channels and "hid the internet channels"{I think its called}. My locals showed up but they would disappear whenever I turned the TV off or went to live tv.

BUT if I used my app remote and hit the home screen Poof there they were, I even saw a label antenna channels suddenly. I also activated the last channel on start up or something to that effect.

I still miss my number remote but this is way better. If I fig out more I'll add

  • Hi RV1966,

    Welcome to the Roku Community!

We understand you are having trouble with your antenna channels, which disappeared after turning the TV off or going to Live TV. No worries; we're here to sort this out for you.

May we know if you are selecting the "LiveTV" tile on the Home Screen located with the apps/channels or the "LiveTV" menu item from the Home Screen Menu on the left side?

Note: If you select LiveTV from the left-side menu, you will not get your Antenna/over-the-air/locals. You need to select the tile to see and receive them.

Please keep us posted on how this works for you, and we'll continue assisting you from there.

    Thanks,
    Chel

      Good day,

When I mean local I should have been specific .yes I can see the local channel s but I'd like them to be there automatically when I turn on tv. In other words, air channels. Somehow I solved it.
