I haven't seen this mentioned in previous threads...
Within the last few weeks, when I turn on the Roku Ultra player, the Roku the Roku channel app auto starts. I delete the app, only to have it start downloading when I restart the Roku Ultra.
How can I stop this cycle of deleting & auto download when the Roku Ultra ism turned on??
I've believe I've been through all the settings & haven't been able to stop the cycle.
How are you turning the player "on"? What I mean is, they don't normally turn "off" (though they do have a low power mode that can be disabled). So I'm wondering what specifically is happening when you say "turned on"? (Some button on some remote? Plugging it in to the wall?...)
By 'turning on', the roku Ultra remote turns on the TV via CEC with the power button on the Roku remote & auto starts the Roku channel app which was deleted. Another oddity, the Roku channel app is always place in the first position of the third row down.
Yes, it's a minor inconvenience. But, I don't ever use or need the Roku channel app.

That's odd. If you turn on the TV with the TV remote, does that also cause an app download?
