Connecting to my Wi-Fi problem

We moved to a house that has wall mounted Roku tvs. It won’t connect to my Wi-Fi and keeps saying to check the cable connection. We don’t have cable, just streaming. What do I do?

    "Check the cable connection"?  When do you see that?  You should be going through the procedure under Settings->Network->Set up connection->Wireless.  What happens when you do that?
