Closed Captions where do I find settings

Options tells me CC is on. Nothing appears on the screen.

    We understand that you're looking for the Closed Captioning settings. No worries, we're here to assist.

    Please be advised that this feature is activated from within the channel. The closed captioning settings available on your Roku® streaming device do not affect the display of subtitles or closed captions for content from certain service providers. 

    Closed captions can often be turned on or off during playback for channels that use the closed captioning settings available on your Roku device. 

    Note: Please be aware that not all channels offer this feature.

    1. After playback begins, press Star 
       
      on your Roku remote to, open the Options menu
    2. Scroll and select Closed captioning.
    3. Choose when captions appear.

    There are also specific channels that require instructions on turning on closed captioning. See the list below:
