Channel installation failed

Hello,

I am from Australia and I bought a fairly brand new Roku falcon tv second hand. I realised that the account was still in the previous owners so I had to factory reset it. When I logged in with my new Roku account, I am unable to install 7+ app which was working perfectly before I factory reset the TV. Could you please assist or have any tips on how to download it again?

thanks'

  • Hi Channy,

Thanks for taking your first post in the Roku Community!

Please be aware that channel availability or access on Roku devices will vary from region to region. A Roku device will work in any location; however, channels may not be available on your device in that location, based on each channel provider's discretion. For more information, we suggest you contact any specific channel service provider to inquire further about whether they offer their channel and service on the Roku platform in your region.

On the other hand, if the channel was available before, visit our Support page to learn why a channel is no longer available on your Roku streaming device.

We hope you'll find this information useful. Let us know in case you've still got any questions.

    All the best,

    Chel

    Hi, Kym9969

Thanks for posting, and welcome to the Roku Community.

We appreciate you for sharing this information with us, and we'd be more than glad to assist. May we know from what region is the Roku TV from prior to your re-activation? Also, could you please confirm what are the channels/apps that are unable to be installed?

    Keep us posted.

    All the best,
    Kash

      Hi Kash,

I purchased the Roku tv in Australia as well. Same location in Brisbane. I had no issues installing the 7plus app (prior to realising that the previous owner's email is logged in). I had to create a new Roku account and logged in in the tv. Thats when I can't install the  7plus app.

      thanks

Thanks for keeping us posted, Kym9969

Have you tried factory resetting your device once more to see if you're able to install the apps successfully? If not, we recommend performing it once more. Also, make sure that your Roku TV has a great connection for the apps to be installed with no issues,

Keep us posted on what you find out.

        All the best,
        Kash
