I have a roku tv and a google tv in my home. I can turn on closed captions on the roku tv but for whatever reason I can't turn them on with the roku channel app for google tv. Captions are turned on on the google tv settings, work fine in other apps. They also work on the roku channel on the web but there's way to turn them on on the roku channel app. Has anyone seen this and have a fix?

I was trying to watch a live baseball game, Yankees vs Orioles, exclusive on the roku channel app after adding it to my google tv. The problem was the live broadcast I had no way to enable the closed captions. I could enable them on recorded TV shows as there was an option for them but not the live broadcast.
I ended up watching the game on MLB.tv which took me to the roku feed and that had captions because I had already enabled them on the MLB app. I only realized afterwards that I could have probably enabled the captions on a recorded show on the roku channel and the setting might have stuck.
