Do you have the original USB cable with bump in it? That is what the remote communicates with, not the stick itself, you can't use any usb cable you need the original!!!

Yes, I understand. I spent hours scouring the net for a solution to pair the remote, nothing ever mentioned that certain stick models need that cable. I only found your reply because I finally put the model number of the stick into my search. Thanks for solving my problem!
