Cant connect my roku app to my streaming stick
Im in a dorm room and I am having an issue as my college's wifi is a public one. Ive put my phone on the wifi multiple times. I've restarted the app and the streaming stick. The app has my streaming stick but it wont connect. Is the app only for roku tv? please help.
Public Wi-Fi networks often utilize something known as "client isolation" that prevents connected devices from connecting to each other. Remember, if you could connect to your Roku so could everyone else.
