Cannot get past Error 016 message

How to get past Error 016

    This specific error code 016 occurs when you try to launch a channel, but the network or internet connection has been lost. To get this sorted out, you can perform the following:

    1. Set up network connection 
    2. Restart your Roku player, go to Settings > System > System restart
    3. Unplug and re-plug your router from the outlet

  • That means there is a network connection issue.  Try restarting your Roku by doing a system restart or unplugging for 60 seconds.  Also, try unplugging your router/modem for 60 seconds.
