Can Roku 3 be used in college dorm hotel mode

I’m taking a trip and want to take my Roku 3 and use it at the resort I will be staying at.Does the college dorm hotel feature work with a Roku 3 or do I need to use a newer Roku?

    I've never had any version of the Roku 3 (there's two different models), but they are still on the officially supported list, so they should have the dorm/hotel mode. Remember you need a laptop, tablet or smart phone to use hotel mode and connect the Roku to the hotel network.
